What account warm-up is
Warm-up is a period when a new or purchased account behaves like a regular user: reads channels, reacts to posts, watches stories, visits its profile. Without it, an account starts writing and joining chats on day one — and that kind of behavior more often ends in reports and restrictions.
In GramClaude, warm-up runs on its own: you pick the accounts and a profile, and the module spreads the actions across days and hours.
What warm-up does
In one session at normal intensity, an account does roughly this:
| Action | Per session | On by default |
|---|---|---|
| Reading channels | 6 | yes |
| Reactions to posts | 3 | yes |
| Watching stories | 4 | yes |
| "Online" status in the profile | 1 | yes |
| Small actions: open chats, scroll channels, view profiles and settings | 3 | yes |
| Joining groups | 1 | no |
| A message between your own accounts | 1 | no |
There are more than twenty small actions in total — turn them on in the profile. Sessions run at most once every 45 minutes and only in the hours you set. First sessions of different accounts are spread out so they don't start at once.
How long to warm up an account
By default warm-up lasts 7 days. You can set anything from 5 minutes to 90 days; the form has presets from half an hour to a month.
There's no universal term: Telegram doesn't publish how long an account should rest. A fresh account on a virtual number deserves a longer warm-up than an account with history. If you'd rather not decide, turn on Auto mode.
Intensity and schedule
- Intensity — cautious, normal or aggressive: it sets the number of actions per session.
- Ramp-up — fewer actions in the first days, the full volume by the end of the first week.
- Working hours — warm-up only runs in the chosen window.
- Random breaks — sometimes an account skips an action or a whole session, like a real person.
Age-based adjustment can only lower the intensity, never raise it above what you chose.
Auto mode
In Auto mode the module picks the volume and duration by account age: a young account warms up longer and gentler, a mature one — shorter. In the first days a young account only reads.
If an account has a low survival rating, Auto mode lowers the load one more step. Profiles can be copied, saved to a file and loaded back.
What warm-up doesn't do
- It doesn't lift restrictions. If an account already has a spam block or is frozen, warm-up won't remove it — see the guide on spam blocks and frozen accounts for how to check.
- It doesn't promise a longer life. It removes the most common mistake — a sudden start — but it doesn't cancel recipients' reports.
- It doesn't bypass Telegram's rules. These are ordinary user actions, not a way to hide mass messaging.
If an account acts oddly after warm-up — messages don't get through, nobody replies — see the guide on shadowbans.
Warm-up and other modules
Warm-up actions count toward the account's shared budget — the same one used by direct messages, comments and reactions. If the account also works in another module, warm-up won't overspend it.
If an account was paused after a run of FLOOD_WAIT errors, warm-up waits and continues afterward. What FLOOD_WAIT is and why it matters — in a separate guide.
